Challenge

Establish effective brand foundation and strategic communications plan for Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Violent Extremism Task Force (CVE TF) and Office for Community Partnerships (OCP) in order to drive awareness, participation and advocacy among key internal and external stakeholders.

Solution

MSP developed the CVE TF and OCP official brand and aligned stakeholder messaging by implementing brand clear guidelines, established through a brand development session.  The brand guidelines helped CVE TF and OCP to ensure consistency and clarity across all communications. MSP also developed a CVE TF web strategy and produced other digital tools (infographics, animations and presentations) in order to effectively communicate key themes and initiatives.  Additionally, MSP produced the Digital Forum on Terrorism Prevention, a community engagement expo highlighting counter terrorism developments and partnerships.  The inaugural event brought together key stakeholders within the CVE community around the US.
